Cemetery Birding at El Carmelo

Join us for a relaxed bird walk at El Carmelo Cemetery in Pacific Grove, a quiet and beautiful site that often hosts a surprising variety of birds. We will move at an easy pace, focusing on observation, identification, and enjoying birds in a peaceful setting.

Trip Difficulty: We will mostly stick to the paved road inside the cemetery.

What to wear: The weather can be tricky in Pacific Grove. It's always best to dress in layers for optimal comfort.

Meet: At the El Carmelo Cemetery entrance in Pacific Grove. Free parking is available on Asilomar Avenue right outside the cemetery (here).

Facilities: There are facilities available a short drive away at Crespi Pond.
