Scholarship Essay Contest

Essay Rules:

 

1. Essay: Whether you are planning a career in natural sciences or not, tell us why you want to incorporate eco-friendly practices in your career. Relate experiences that led to your decision, and why you think it is an important career choice. Please cite sources for any information you have used in your essay. Minimum 500 words. You will need to submit a .pdf of the essay, double-spaced with your name and essay title at the top.

3. Official Transcripts through Semester 1 of 12th grade.

4. Essays will be judged on:Personal Experiences & Motivation; Understanding of Eco-Friendly Career Choices and Conservation Values; Environmental Service, Nonprofit Involvement & Leadership; Organization & Clarity; Originality & Voice; Grammar; Spelling & Mechanics
