Amanda Preece started as the MAS Environmental Advocate in October 2021. Her background includes wildlife rehabilitation and captive bird care, natural resources management, and environmental education and interpretation. She has a B.S. in Biology and a Masters of Science in Environmental Science, both from California State University, Monterey Bay. You'll find her at nearly every bird or wildlife related event in the region, espousing the merits of birding and the importance of protecting birds and nature.
