A lifelong Californian, Deb recently moved to the Monterey area from the San Francisco Bay Area and is thrilled to be in a role where she can make a meaningful impact on the Monterey ecosystem. After eleven years leading an environmental nonprofit organization, she looks forward to returning to her roots as a community and volunteer organizer. As an avid hiker, Deb is inspired to share her passion for nature with everyone through MAS. She’s eager to employ her holistic lens to conservation by connecting people to the natural world through environmental education and engagement. She is an alumna of Cal Berkeley with a degree in Environmental Science and has served on numerous boards and committees.
